This event will be an opportunity to hear from a panel working across creative industries and AI to discuss how AI is driving innovation in creative industries, the opportunities, the impacts we are seeing and what’s next! The event will open with networking followed by the panel discussion with an open Q&A.

Co-Chairs – Abigail & Chloe Baldwin, founders of Buttercrumble

 

Buttercrumble, a creative studio formed by twin sisters, Chloe and Abigail Baldwin. A Yorkshire-born, twin-founded studio with bases in Leeds and London, the team believes in the power of technology for aiding creativity, with an interest on the impact of AI on their practice. 

 

  • Abigail co-founded Buttercrumble with her twin sister, Chloe. Illustration has always appealed to Abigail's creative side because she could draw whatever she wished without limits. Today she helps to solve problems and create stories with the aid of graphic design and illustration.

 

  • Chloe has spearheaded many business-to-business projects, using her broad experience to structure and direct teams. Before starting Buttercrumble, Chloe worked in a PR agency designing for FTSE 100 companies before moving in-house to design commercial ranges for crafters.

Ian Caballero - Lecturer in Creative Technology at the Academy of Live Technology

Ian Caballero is a Lecturer in postgraduate studies at the Academy of Live Technology - formerly Backstage Academy. He has been active in the events industry, as well as working in higher education for over thirteen years. Ian specialises in live sound, technical production, and the integration of technical systems. His current research focus on the future of technology for live events, and virtual production. 

 

James Pierechod – Head of Creative & Client Strategy at Powerhouse

James is an experienced creative technologist and content marketing consultant with over two decades of expertise in marketing and advertising. He has a proven track record working with award-winning agencies, marketing consultancies, in-house teams, and production studios. James is known for his focus on 'content with purpose,' emphasizing insights, creativity, efficiency, and evolving production strategies. He specialises in digital content, including traditional and digital strategy, virtual productions, AI integrations, and visual SEO deployment strategies. 

 

Hazel Savage – Founder of Musiio / VP Music Intelligence at Soundcloud

With over 15 years’ experience in the music industry, Hazel is a tech expert, guitarist and was the co-founder and CEO of Musiio. She is now VP, Music Intelligence at SoundCloud. In 2022 she won the Entrepreneur of the Year at the Women In Music Awards, and travels globally speaking at conferences and educating catalogue owners about the value of AI integration and digital transformation in the music industry. 

 

Moshood Yahaya – Founder, Applied Artificial Intelligence Society, University of Bradford

Experienced data professional with great analytical skills and strengths in Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Performance Management, Agile Methodology and Devops. Co-Founder and Founding President of the Applied Artificial Intelligence Society which already has over 200 members, Moshood's vision is to create a centre of excellence for data science capacity building and skills development.
