Event overview: 

This event will allow organisations to create meaningful peer and business relationships and discover how they can work with the college and each other.

The event will have the following talks:

  • Extreme Networks - Discussing the lessons learned/value add and experience of working in partnership with the college & showcase business, including the launch of their new Extreme Academy, an industry and skills collaboration

  • Precursor - Outlining current challenges, opportunities and requirements to access and help develop diverse, fresh talent & showcase business 

  • Redcentric will outline the launch of their exciting new apprenticeship programme, in partnership Leeds City College and Leeds Rhinos. Creating a pathway to employment in the fast-paced world of IT and technology for sports professionals and local talent

  • Leeds Teaching Hospital will outline current challenges, opportunities available to help train, retain and retrain staff for now and in the future

  • COPTRZ and Leeds City College will be jointly speaking about their ongoing collaboration, bringing Drone Technology into education. This lightning talk will include information on the partnerships, practical activities, room sponsor and how they are bringing drone technology industry experts in to deliver teaching and learning and the mutual benefits this brings to both parties.

  • Q&A - Your opportunity at ask questions to the Head of Digital at Leeds City College on bespoke, flexible and co-funded innovative learning and development options available for digital employers 

  • The West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges - Speaking about their Green Skills Service with employers, encouraging the uptake of innovative practices and behaviours to reduce Co2 and achieve net zero

The event will end with 15 minute peer networking and collaboration.
